Got ready as usual, threw the racing flats on to warmup for workout, and after about 100 feet knew today was going to be a struggle easy run. These kind of runs inevitably happen. Suck, but part of the process. Just means the plyometics and lifting have tired out my legs good.
5.1 miles, 34:50 in racing flats. Legs had nothing. The good thing is I felt better as I went and got last mile down to 6:33. I'll do some kind of workout tomorrow after run with EK or Monday. Whenever the legs are ready I guess.
Note to self. Plyometics and lifting day before workout doesn't work. Going to have to do them after workouts. Not 30 anymore, haha.
