Alright, going to get in an easy run today. Tomorrow's plan for 5-k is to run the first 1-k really hard to simulate how xc race next week will go out. Then I'm going to try and run the rest of the race tomorrow at 5:15-5:20 pace which is the pace the lead pack at xc will probably be running at most of the race. Course tomorrow is rolling hills. With about half a mile to go tomorrow, there is one big hill which should help see where my fitness is at.
Although the workout didn't go super great at the track the other day, I've been a little tired as of late, thus taking yesterday off. It was still a good workout, I was just a few seconds off my planned splits. My biggest goal is to rest up this week.
